About Us

Who We Are

Lauralee’s Therapy is a therapy agency dedicated to providing high-quality, in-home services to members and families throughout San Tan Valley and surrounding communities.

Founded by Lauralee Larkin, M.S., CCC-SLP, our practice began with a passion for supporting individuals through individualized, compassionate care. As we have grown, so has our team—allowing us to expand our services to include speech, feeding, occupational, and physical therapy, all delivered in the comfort of each member’s natural environment.

We believe that therapy is most meaningful when it is functional, family-centered, and tailored to each individual’s unique strengths and needs. Our team works closely with families and caregivers to create supportive, engaging, and effective therapy experiences that promote real-life progress.

With extensive experience supporting individuals within the DDD community, we understand the importance of collaboration, consistency, and trust. Our goal is not only to help each individual reach their full potential, but also to empower families every step of the way.

We are honored to be part of each individual’s journey and truly grateful for the opportunity to support the families we serve.

About The Owner

Lauralee Larkin, M.S., CCC-SLP, is the founder and owner of Lauralee’s Therapy. Her passion for helping others began at a young age after volunteering with a homebound neighbor and observing an in-home therapy session that left a lasting impression.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2002 and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2005 from Worcester State College in Massachusetts.

Lauralee began her career in the public schools before transitioning to providing in-home services for individuals eligible through DDD and AzEIP. It was in the home setting that she discovered her true passion—supporting individuals and families in a meaningful, functional way within their everyday environments.

With over 20 years of experience, Lauralee has worked with individuals of varying ages and abilities, with a special interest in autism and sensory-based feeding. She is especially passionate about collaborating with and empowering families throughout the therapy process.

Outside of work, Lauralee enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and friends.

Growing up, Lauralee always knew she wanted to help people. In high school, Lauralee volunteered for an elderly neighbor who was homebound and had the opportunity to observe an in-home visit from an occupational therapist.  Seeing the impact this compassionate and knowledgeable therapist had on her neighbor, Lauralee applied to colleges in hopes to also have that same effect within her community.

Her passion ended up being helping others learn to communicate.

Lauralee obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2002 and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2005 from Worcester State College, located in Worcester, Massachusetts.

After graduation in 2005, Lauralee moved to San Tan Valley, AZ, where she started her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in public schools.

After 6 years of working in the schools, Lauralee began providing in-home services to clients eligible for services through DDD (Department of Developmental Disabilities) and/or AzEIP (Arizona Early Intervention Program).

Lauralee found working with this population in their natural home environment to be the most rewarding job ever.  She has never looked back!

In addition to staying up to date with current research and practices through continuing education opportunities, Lauralee collaborates on a regular basis with a variety of other disciplines and therapists, including occupational therapists and physical therapists.

In her spare time, Lauralee enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
